Imphal, May 15 2025: Mongjam Pusparani struck twice to lead Manipur United FA to a 2-1 triumph over YWC in the 15th AMFA Senior Women's Football League at SAI Ground, Takyel, on Thursday.

The match saw Manipur United dominate possession in the first half, with Puspa-rani breaking the deadlock in the 37th minute with a well-taken strike.

She continued her fine form after the break, doubling her team's lead just three minutes into the second half with another composed finish in the 48th minute, putting her side in a commanding position.

YWC rallied in the second half, reducing the deficit in the 61st minute courtesy of a goal from Yumnam Lax-mi.

However, despite their spirited efforts, they were unable to find an equaliser as Manipur United held firm to seal the win.
