Imphal, September 12 2025: Renghong scored twice to fashion Angkhel Chayang YCC a 2-0 semi-final victory in the DC Chandel Trophy Second Division Football Tournament 2025 being organised by District Sports Association, Chandel.

Angkhel Chayang YCC and Rindamkhu SC started the match cautiously and entered into the break goalless before Renghong broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute before netting the decisive goal two minutes into the stoppage time (90+2').Angkhel Chayang YCC thrashed Tonsen FC by 4-1 goals in the pre-quarterfmal match before 4-3 beating of Panchai SCC in the quarterfinal match to seal their place in the semi-final.

In the fourth quarterfinal match of the tournament staged earlier in the day, Monsang Pantha YCC defeated Penaching DC by 3-1 goals to set up a semi-final date with Mahamani YC .

Bishworjit (34'), Rolish (70') and Giles (82') were on target for Monsang Pantha YCC after Mekas opened the scoring for Penaching DC in the 20th minute.

Monsang Pantha YCC earlier reached the quarterfinals with a 1-0 win over Lamphou Pasna YC .
