IMA Academy felicitates Junior Boys' NFC winners

Imphal, August 11 2025: Iboton Memorial Academy (IMA) Wangoi today accorded a warm reception to three school boys, who were part of the Manipur team who recently won the Junior Boys' National Football Championship for Dr BC Roy in Amritsar, at Wangoi Bazar community hall.

The programme was presided by W Amutombi as chief guest; W Jadumani, Chairman of IMA Academy as functional president; W Sanajaoba, Th Khomei and Th Manao as guests of honour.

Notably Mutum Mangal, Waikhom Rohit, Mayanglambam Albert were a part of the State team that emerged victorious in the National championship by defeating West Bengal 3-0 inthe final.

The speakers at the occasion not only lauded the students on their achievement but also expressed pride for bringing laurels to the State, district and the school.

The players also thanked the encouragement of the school and the guidance of the State team's coach that helped them emerge champions at the National event.

They were able to represent Manipur all thanks to the blessings and morale support of the teachers and their school fellows, they said while extending special thanks to the Chairman of the school, W Jadumani and Principal, Sagolshem Asha for their unwavering support.

Expressing happiness for the warm reception, they also sought blessing and continuous support from the teachers and the elders to achieve more in their future endeavours.
