YWC post 4 wicket win in Veteran Cricket

Imphal, December 02 2025: YWC, Langthabal posted a 4-wicket win over REYS, Nagamapal in a Group C match of the ongoing 22nd Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament at Langthabal Public Ground.

YWC opted to bat first and restricted REYS to 95/9 in the allotted 30 overs before cruising to 99/6 in 23.5 overs with 4 wickets left in the hand.

Samananda (3/13), Tejkumar (2/14), and Kumaijit (2/17) shone with the ball for YWC in the first innings as Superjit 15, Bonny 14, Boynao 12 not out emerged leading scorers for REYS .

Kumarjit 27, Prakashmani 16 and Ashokumar 11 not out then took YWC to winning 99 in the second innings that saw Iboyaima (2/16) and Nonodren (2/16) sharing four wickets for REYS.

Samananda of YWC was adjudged man of the match.
