SEDO, SLYO triumphant as 52nd Manipur State Junior Girls' Kabaddi Championship kicks off

Imphal, July 29 2026: Hosts SEDO, Nongmaikhong and SLYO, Tekcham emerged victorious as the 52nd Manipur State Junior Girls' Kabaddi Championship kicked off at SEDO playground.

As many as 9 teams clustered into two pools are taking part in the tournament organised by the Manipur State Kabaddi Association.

In the Pool A opening match, SEDO crushed YGC, Chingmei 53-22 before SLYO sealed a 52-26 win over HCKL, Lairok Morokthabi in the Pool B opener.

Top two teams after round robin league will advance to the semi-finals before the final slated for July 31 .
