AIU's Inter University Tournaments : Dept of Sports-MU to conduct direct selection trials

Imphal, September 26 2025: The Department of Sports, Manipur University is set to conduct direct selection trials for preparation of men and women's teams for ensuing AIU's Inter University Tournaments 2025-26 from October 22 .

The MU team trial for Boxing, Athletics, and Cycling will be conducted at Khuman Lampak respectively on October 22, November 20 and December 19 .

Meanwhile, trial for Tennis, Hockey, Ball Badminton, Taekwondo, Sepak-Takraw and Wushu will be held at Manipur University on November 10, November 14, December 15, December 22, January 12 and January 15 respectively.

Informing this in a notification, Assistant Director of Sports, MU urged Principals of Colleges and institutions affiliated to the Manipur University to nominate students/ players for the trials.
