NSA greets lifter Ch Rishikanta on winning Commonwealth Championship gold

Imphal, August 26 2025: The Principal, coaches, teachers and staff of the National Sports Academy (NSA), Khuman Lampak, Imphal has extended congratulations to academy alumni Chanambam Rishikanta on winning a gold medal at the ongoing Commonwealth Weightlifting Championship at Ahmedabad.

Chanambam Rishikanta, who graduated from the National Sports Academy in 2018 earned the gold medal in the men's 60 kg category competition with a total effort of 271 kg (120 in snatch and 151 kg in clean and jerk), said the Principal of NSA in a congratulatory note.

The academy is proud of his achievement and wished him success in all his future endeavours.
