2nd Premier League : Langanglung Kabui, Sagar fashion FC Raengdai's convincing 9-0 win

Imphal, May 17 2025: Kamei Langanglung Kabui scored a treble and S Sagar netted twice to lead the 9-0 demolition job for FC Raengdai, Noney against Imphal Youth Football Club (IYFC) in a one sided Group A match of the ongoing 2nd Premier League.

FC Raengdai, having won three of three previous matches, carried forward their momentum to lead by 4-0 goals at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong this afternoon till the break before pumping in five more goals in the second half to seal the biggest win of this season.

Star of the day, Kamei Langanglung Kabui opened the scoring in the 17th minute before S Sagar doubled the advantage in the 24th minute.

Langanglung bounced back to add his second and team's third in the 44th minute before S Surjakanta made it 4-0 one minute into the added time of the opening half.

FC Raengdai picked up the game from where they left and raced to a 5-0 lead after 52 minutes as Sagar completed his double before substitutes Ganningam Malangmei (61') and Chuingampou Kamei (62') took their turns to further extend the lead to 7-0.Langanglung Kabui then completed his treble in the 72nd minute before Thounaojam Mukesh of IYFC fumbled to net into his own net and made it 9-0 in favour of FC Raengdai after 76 minutes.
