MAKKA to launch 15-day Free Summer Coaching Camp across 13 venues

Imphal, May 15 2026: The Manipur Amateur Kho-Kho Association (MAKKA) is set to launch 15-day Day Free Summer Coaching Camps across 13 venues in association with 5 district associations from June 2 onwards.

The camps are organised in line with the annual Grassroots Kho-Kho Development Programme, said MAKKA in a circular while inviting students and young Kho-Kho enthusiasts between the age of 10-15 years to take advantage of the camp and learn the intricate knowledge of Kho-Kho which has seen growth internationally recently and drawn interest from many countries.

The last date of registration is May 30 (fee : Rs 100 per athlete), it said while adding the registration form can be availed from district association and host clubs concerned .

As per the circular, the coaching centres/ venues which would offer the free coaching camps include AKSAA ground- Awang Sekmai and Yumnam Huidrom Hr Sec School ground under Imphal West District Kho-Kho Association; UYLA ground, Porompat Thawanthaba and TYWA ground, Takhel Mayai Leikai under Imphal East District Kho-Kho Association; Kumbi Sandhong UPS ground, Phoijing No 6 Jr HS-Nambol, and YGC ground-Chingmei under Bishnupur District Kho-Kho Association; Wabagai Thingel Mamang Leikai ground (WESC Wabagai) and SGHIRCS-Pangantabi ground under Kakching District Kho-Kho Association; and BASU ground-Khangabok, SENDYC ground-Salungpham, SCEASDO ground-Heirok and CHMYA ground-Sangaiyumpham under Thoubal District Kho-Kho Association.
