Imphal, August 13 2025: A felicitation ceremony in honour of Konthoujam Devikarani Devi who won silver medals in the Taijiquan and Taijijian categories at the recently concluded 12th Asian Junior Wushu Championship in China was held today at Macha Leima School, Pakhangba Pukhri Mapal, Palace Compound.

During the function, cash awards and other gifts were presented to Konthoujam Devika as a mark of appreciation and encouragement.

Macha Leima School's headmistress Khaidem Memobala Chanu, staff, members of Macha Leima School Society and Macha Leima were present at the event.

Notably, Konthoujam Devikarani Devi, a student of Macha Leima School (Class V) is the daughter of Konthoujam Deben Singh and Konthoujam Ongbi Bijeta Devi from Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapal.
