Damjol YC to take on Japhou YC in final

Imphal, September 11 2025: Damjol YC knocked out Chakpikarong YC today to set up a summit clash against Japhou YC in the final of the DC Chandel Trophy 1st Division Football.

In the second semifinal match today, Damjol YC beat Chakpikarong YC 1-0 .

Rengtinson scored the winner for Damjol YC in the match's 9th minute.

Chakpikarong put in their best efforts, but couldn't find an equalizer till the end whistle.

Damjol YC will now take on a splendid Japhou YC in the final.

Notably, Japhou YC had beaten Chandel Christian YC 5-0 in the first semifinal match to enter the final.

Their star player, Strongman had fired a massive 3 goals to help the team win the match 5-0 .
