Goa to host 31st National Sub-Jr & Sr Thang-Ta C'ship in October

Imphal, June 11 2025: The Thang-Ta Sports Association of Goa, under the aegis of the Thang-Ta Fed eration of India, will host the 31st National Sub-Junior and Senior Thang-Ta Championship 2025.Scheduled to be held at the Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium in Madgaon, Goa, the event will run from October 4 to 7, 2025 .

Approximately 750 participants from various states and Union Territories across the country are expected to compete in the championship.

The competition will feature key Thang-Ta disciplines, including two Phunaba categories - Phunaba Ama and Phunaba Anishuba - as well as events under Kanglon Chatpa, such as Thang-Haiba, Thanglon, and Khonglon-Khutlon, according to a press release from the Thang-Ta Federation of India.
