Ng Mani College to host MU Inter College Kabaddi Tournament

Imphal, September 10 2026: The Manipur University Sports Committee, in its general body meeting held today, decided the venues and hosts for upcoming MU Inter College Sports competitions.

As per a memorandum issued in this regard by the Assistant Director of Sports, MU, Ng Mani College, Khurai Chairenthong will host the Kabaddi (M&W) tournament from September 17 to 18 while TS Paul Manipur Women's College will host Table Tennis (M&W) tournament from September 24 to 25 .

Other tournaments and their hosts are : Volleyball (M&W)- Thambal Marik College, Oinam from September 28 to 30; Handball (M&W)- SS Gourgobind Girls' College, Khurai from October 1 to 3; Judo (M&W)- Pravabati College, Mayang Imphal from October 5 to 6; Thang-Ta (M&W)- Kamakhya Pemton College, Hiyangthang from October 8 to 9; Badminton (M&W)- Naorem Birahari College, Khundrakpam from October 12 to 13; Archery (M&W)- Pole Star College, Hiyanglam from October 28 to 29; Basketball (M&W)- MIT, Canchipur from October 30 to 31; Football (W)- Kumbi College from November 2 to 3; Football (M)- Regional College, Lilong Chajing from November 10; Best Physique (M)- Standard College, Kongba from November 25; Softball (M&W)- Biramangol College, Sawombung from November 26 to 27; Powerlifting (M&W) and Weightlifting (M&W)- Liberal College, Luwangsangbam from December 1 to 2; Chess (M&W)- W Mani Girls' College, Thoubal from December 3 to 4; Shooting (M&W)- Royal Academy of Law, Oinam on December 7; Wrestling (M&W)- YK College, Wangjing from December 8 to 9; Yoga (M&W)- Yoga Physique Institute and Studies, Uripok from January 5 to 6; Mukna (M)- Manipur College, Singjamei on January 8 .

Students registered in the AIU Sports Portal and have AIU Sports ID are eligible to take part in the tournaments, it added.
