3rd MNCA U-19 Women's One Day Trophy : FORCE storm into semifinals with 9-wicket thrashing of PSC for fifth win on trot

FORCE, Kshetrigao sealed Group A pole position with 9-wicket thrashing of PSC, Khuyathong for fifth win on the trot today in their last group stage match of the ongoing 3rd MNCA U-19 Women's One Day Trophy at Kongba Dhobi Lampak.
By virtue of being the runaway Group A leaders, FORCE booked their place in the semi-final and will play Group B runners up THAU, Thangmeiband for a place in the final.
FORCE bowled out toss winners PSC for 35 runs in 17 overs this morning before chasing down the target in just 3.3 overs with 9 wickets left to spare.
Rahamatun Khanam ran riot to pick 6 wickets for FORCE and led in dismantling PSC line up by conceding just 6 runs in 7 overs while Barkatun Khanam (2/9 in 1 over) and Wakila Shani (1/8 in 5 overs) shared three wickets.
Barkatun then scored an unbeaten 31 off 17 balls (4 fours and 2 sixes) to seal the victory for FORCE and walked away with the player of the match accolade.
In a dead rubber Group A match staged at THAU ground, PCC, Mayaikoibi sealed an 8-wicket win over PTCC, Patsoi Part III.
PTCC opted to bat first but were dismissed for 77 runs in 22 overs as PCC's Hemam Lingjen enjoyed a fifer (2/15 in 7 overs) and Manithoi Salam picked two wickets (2/ 23 in 5 overs) to set up the early collapse.
Nongthombam Langlenthoibi Chanu the scored an unbeaten 21 off 23 balls to seal the victory for PCC within 13.1 overs.
Only Chongtham Dimple 12 off 46 balls managed the double digit score for PTCC in the first innings before Niruka and Khundrakpam Anjali picked a wicket apiece in a lost cause.
Hemam Lingjen was eventually adjudged player of the match.
PSC who are already out of the contention for the semifinal berth will play Group A runners up SHADOW, Thangmeiband in the final league match on May 12 at THAU ground, Thangmeiband.
