3rd U-15 Girls One Day Trophy : TCMDC beat SU by 73 runs to end 3-game losing run

Imphal, May 08 2026: TCMDC, Thongju ended their 3-game losing run in the Group A competition of the 3rd U-15 Girls One Day Trophy 2025-26 by handing SU, Sagolband a 73 run defeat at THAU ground, Thangmeiband today.

Opting to bat first, TCMDC raised a respectable total of 210/2 riding on Ningthoisana Thoudam's unbeaten knock of 89 runs off 59 balls laden with 12 fours and Laishram Lanchenbi's crucial knock of 42 runs off 74 balls (3 fours) .

Chasing 211 for the victory, SU were restricted to 137/3 despite Ngasepam Sweety's fighting 62-ball 32 and thus they endured their third successive loss in the Group A competition.

SU's Tamphasana Rajkumari 19 off 32 balls and Ayekpam Bhumika 10 off 14 were unbeaten on crease as they ended their innings 74 runs behind the target.

For TCMDC, Wahengbam Malem (2/23) and Urikhinbam Langlen (1/20) led the frugal bowling attack and shared three wickets.

Earlier in the first innings, Lairenjam Nunshitombi (1/21) and Heigrujam Mangalleibi (1/22) claimed a wicket apiece for SU .
