34th State Thang-Ta C'ship : Kh Rohan wins sub-junior boys'+53 kg category gold

Imphal, July 06 2025: Kh Rohan of MMAA, Moirang Kampu won the gold medal in the subjunior boys'+53 kg category Phunaba Ama competition in the 34th State Sub-Junior and Senior Thang-Ta Championship being underway at Thang-Ta Shanglen, Yumnam Huidrom.

Rohan beat A Jackson of NKSFI, Tentha Heibung to seal the gold medal as Ch Jenan of TTM, Yumnam Huidrom settled for the bronze medal.

Th Rajesh of BDHLTTA, Kakyai meanwhile clinched the U-53kg category gold medal beating T Ngamba of NKSFI in the final today as L Rajesh of MNTT, Heirok beat L Yohenba of ACHIPA Thang-Ta for the -49 kg title.

Kh Nepolian of PAHULASI, Mayaikoibi (-25 kg), Th Henthoiba of NKSFI (-29 kg), Naorem Thoihenba of IKTTCA, Moidangpok (-33 kg), Ch Johnson of Iroishemba Thang-Ta (-37 kg), O Jinata of BDHLTTA (-41 kg), Ch Naresh of Iroishemba Thang-Ta (-45 kg) and L Rajesh of MNTT, Heirok (-49 kg) also won gold medals in their respective categories.

Y Malemnganba of UHLA, Samurou in the meantime bagged the -45 kg category gold medal in the sub-junior boys' Phunaba Anishuba competition by beating Thoithoiba Sagolshem of PAHULASI in the final today.

Meiraba Thongam of PAHULASI (-25 kg), Soubam Khagemba of ICASA (-29 kg), Th Rieko of Paree Imom (-33 kg), M Rohit of LKTAS (-37 kg) and N Nelson of ACHIPA Thang-Ta (-41 kg) alson won gold medal in their respective categories.
