RFCC overwhelm AKSA 9-0 to keep semi-final hopes alive

Imphal, February 06 2026: RFCC, Keinou are back into the contention for the remaining semi-final berth of the 16th Loktak Trophy as they prevailed 9-0 over AKSA, Kwakta today in their second match at Moirang Multipurpose Hr Secondary School playground.

RFCC, who slumped to a 1-7 loss to FC Kumbi in their league opener, rode on trebles from H Torres and A Krish to seal the huge 9-0 win over their Kwakta rivals.

H Torres opened the scoring in the 21 st minute before A Krish scored a hattrick (22', 23', 28') and RK Mangalsana added one (35') to give RFCC a 5-0 first half lead.

L Sanathoi then made it 6-0 after 58 minutes before H Torres had his second in the 61st minute and Ng Manimatum scored one in the 77th minute further extending the lead to 8-0.H Torres then completed his treble in the 82nd minute and earned RFCC a 9-0 victory.

They will play Utlou FC in the final league match tomorrow.

The result will decide whether Utlou FC or RFCC qualify for the title clash against FC Kumbi who are on top of the table with 2 wins and a draw.
