U13 Girls' ASMITA City Football League : YWC-Th, ESU, KRYPHSA, YWC-L enter semis

Imphal, September 03 2026: Youth Welfare Club, Thambalkhong (YWC-Th); Eastern Sporting Union (ESU), Wangkhei Palace Compound; Kangchup Road Young Physical and Sports Association (KRYPHSA), and Young Welfare Club, Langthabal (YWC-L) are into the semi-finals of the U13 Girls' ASMITA City Football League 2026-27, Imphal Organised by the All Manipur Football Association.

In the first quarterfinal match of the 8-team tournament being underway at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong, YWC-Th romped past ICSA, Irengbam by 8-0 goals to make their way to the semis.

O Yaiphabi (2', 5') scored a brace within 5 minutes to give YWC-Th a prolific start before A Roshina (11', 19', 32') and Th Maipakpi (26', 34', 36') carried forward the scoring spree to complete their trebles and set up the 8-0 win.

Later in the second quarter final encounter, Meenarva L (25+1') and Kh Chaoba (48') scored a goal apiece to help ESU outlast MUFA 2-0 .

In the third quarter final encounter, Sh Jelina (15') and Th Th Sheirli (44') were on target to hand KRYPHSA a 2-0 win over SSC.

In the last quarterfinal match, S Tondonbi scored in the 26th minute to earn a slender 1-0 win for YWC-L against FC Imphal.

YWC-Th will play ESU in the first semi-final match tomorrow from 9 am before KRYPHSA take on YWC-L from 10.30 am .
