NE Elite Basketball League : Manipur Basketball Association to conduct trial on May 8

Imphal, May 03 2026: The Manipur Basketball Association is set to conduct a trial selection on May 8 to nominate 15 players in connection with the North East Elite Basketball League for U-19 boys to be hosted by Mizoram.

The league competition will be organised by the ABC and ACG Basketball Development League Pvt Ltd in Aizawl Mizoram from June 22 to July 2, said the Manipur Basketball Association in a press release.

The players who are nominated from the State will undergo a trial selection in Aizawl from June 18 and 19 and the selected players will be drafted into various team franchises for the league competition, it said.

Interested State players may report along with their respective photocopy of Aadhaar Card on May 8 by 6.30 am at Dharmalaya Social Welfare Basketball Court, Brahmapur Nahabam Leikai.

The league tournament aims to provide a professional and high-level competitive platform for emerging Basketball talent across the North East Region, it said.

The organisers will reimburse the to and fro travel expenses and provide free accomodation, food and stay for all participating players in Aizawl, it said.
