4th Invitation Gymnastics Championship : Ningthoujam Deepak, Kamei Lanchenmeiliu Rongmei seal men and women's open all round titles

Imphal, August 31 2025: Ningthoujam Deepak and Kamei Lanchenmeiliu Rongmei emerged men and artistic women's open all round title winners in the 4th Invitation Gymnastics Championship organised by the Manipur Gymnasts parents Association under the aegis of the All Manipur Gymnastics Association (AMGA) .

Ningthoujam Deepak secured the all round title by amassing 68.825 points off 6 major events in the men's open section.

Ningthoujam Deepak earned the top honours in men's open Floor Exercise, Pommel Horse, Horizontal Bar competitions.

4th Invitation Gymnastics Championship

He made second place in the Vaulting Table event and finished third in the Roman Ring and Parallel Bar competitions.

Tekcham Yoihenba earned the top honour in the Roman Ring Competition as well as the Parallel Bar competitions while Naorem Peter took the Vaulting Table title.

Kamei Lanchenmeiliu Rongmei in the meantime clinched the artistic women's open all round title by amassing 47.2 points.

She topped the Open Floor Exercise and Balancing Beam competitions before finishing third in the Vaulting Table competition.

Anjori Pangambam was able to seal the top honour in the women's open Aerobic competition as Gracemi Pangambam finished first in Open Vaulting and Uneven Bar events.

The 3-day championship came to a close in the presence of Brahmacharimayum Saratchandra, social worker; Tekcham Dasho, president, AMGA; Yumnam Lenin, Executive Engineer, Kakching; A Pritam Sharma, assistant secretary AMGA and Naorem Mahendra, president Citizens' Club as presidium members.
