Imphal, October 30 2025: Chingkheihunba PC, Kongpal and AR Polo Tearn-A cruised into the quarterfinals of the ongoing 38th N Hazari and Dr N Tombi State Polo Tournament with pre-quarterfinal victories at Mapal Kangjeibung this afternoon.

In the 1 st match of the day, Chingkheihunba PC defeated Tekcham PC by 7-4 goals courtesy of A Basanta who found the target 5 times.

Alex Aheibam and Th Kaoba also contributed a goal apiece to Chingkheihunba PC's tally as the team led the first chukker 2-1, second chukker 3-2, third chukker 7-2 before conceding two goals in the fourth chukker to come out 7-4 winners.

In the second match of the day, AR Polo Team-A rode on Bon Bon once again to crush Nongpok Apunba Kangjei Lup, Porompat 17-3.Bon Bon scored 9 goals, three apiece in the first, third and fourth chukkers as AR Polo Team-A enjoyed a 5-1 first chukker lead and a 8-2 lead after two chukkers.

With Kh Sushil (1), Riyakat Ali (2), Kh Chandrakumar (2), L Joykumar (2), and Kuber (1) also finding the target, AR Polo Team were able to lead 12-3 till third chukker before pumping in five goals in the final chukker to make the final scoreline read 17-3 .
