Stage set for 24th Mini Boys State Level Volleyball Championship quarterfinals

Imphal, August 26 2025: The quarterfinal line up of the 24th Mini Boys State Level Volleyball Championship being underway at Thambal Marik College, Oinam has been completed with the conclusion of the league stage today.

In the final Group A matches staged today, AMIMYDO, Mayang Imphal defeated IGO, Oinam in straight sets (25-14, 25-9, 25-12) to finish group winners before DVA, Thoubal defeated PYC, Naorem in the same fashion (25-19, 25-13, 25-17) to finish group runners up.

Meanwhile HVA, Heigrujam completed Group B league stage sweep by defeating SEWA, Nachou 25-14, 25-18, 25-19 in their last league stage match before YPC, Ishok got the better of UNT, Top Siphai 25-18, 25-23, 25-21 to finish group runners up.

IYYC, Naorem in the meantime topped Group C by defeating LCSK, Senjam Khunou 25-18, 25-15, 25-20 for the third straight victory.

Despite the loss, LCSK finished Group C runners up having beaten TYC, Tengdonyan and SUWC, Irengbam in the previous matches.

In a dead rubber Group C match, TYC beat SUWC 25-15, 25-21, 25-23 .

The day also saw BDVA completing Group D league stage sweep by beating KYLSC, Kachikhul 25-15, 25-12, 25-16 .

Despite the loss, KYLSC finished Group D runners up.

In an inconsequential Group D match staged earlier, SDI, Ishok beat SCYC 25-18, 25-20, 25-22 .

Group A winners AMIMYDO will play Group B runners up YPC in the first quarterfinal match tomorrow morning before Group B winners HVA take on Group A runners up DVA; Group C winners IYYC take on Group D runners up KYLSC and Group D winners BDVA play Group C runners up LCSK in the following matches.

The semi-final matches are scheduled later in the afternoon while the final match is slated for tomorrow afternoon.
