N Hazari and Dr N Tombi State Polo : Thangmeiband Youth PC, Chingkheihunba PC, Tekcham PC progress into next round

Imphal, October 25 2025: Thangmeiband Youth PC, Chingkheihunba PC, and Tekcham PC secured wins to progress into next round of the 38th N Hazari and Dr N Tombi State Polo Tournament, 2025 being organised by the Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association at Mapal Kangjeibung.

In the 14th match of the tournament, Thangmeiband Youth PC won 8-4 against Thoubal District PC to make it to the next round.

S Saolin starred with five goals for the winning side as O Paikhomba scored twice and Kangjam Swama added one.

Thounaojam Pamheiba meanwhile scored thrice for the Thoubal side as M Anildash scored the other goal.

In the second ground, Chingkheihunba PC devastated Kakching Polo Club by 17-1 goals.

A Basanta (5 goals), Takhellambam Leishemba (4 goals), and O Rozer (3 goals) ran riot to share 12 goals for Chingkheihunba PC as Th Kaoba and Aheibam Alex scored two goals apiece and M Bhupendrajit scored one.

The lone goal for Kakching Polo Club was scored by H Devdutta in the opening chukker to make it 1-3 as Chingkheihunba PC added 4 goals in the second chukker, 6 goals in the third chukker and 4 goals in the final chukker to enjoy a 17-1 win.

In the third ground, Tekcham Polo Club outlasted KRYPHSA Polo Team 11-0 .

S Sadananda led the scoring for Tekcham PC by scoring twice in the first chukker and adding another in the second chukker.

M Abhigyan also scored twice in the first chukker as P Bikash chipped in one to hand Tekcham PC a 5-0 first chukker lead.

M Doren meanwhile scored his first in the second chukker to make it 7-0 before adding another in the third chukker that also saw S Ranjit scoring one goal to extend the lead to 9-0 .

M Tomba and Bikash then added a goal apiece in the final chukker to complete the 11-0 demolition of KRYPHSA Polo team.
