24th Mini Boys State Level Volleyball C'ship : HVA, BDVA, IYYC post second straight wins

Imphal, August 25 2025: HVA, Heigrujam; BDVA, Bishnupur and IYYC, Naorem secured two straight victorious in the league stage competition of the 24th Mini Boys State Level Volleyball Championship that began yesterday at Thambal Marik College, Oinam.

HVA opened their Group B winning account by defeating YPC, Ishok by 3-2 sets today before securing a similar win against UNT, Top Siphai in the second match.

HVA conceded first and the fourth sets to YPC in the first match before coming out 21-25, 25-16, 25-21, 22-25, 15-11 winners this morning before defeating UNT 25-18, 23-25, 25-20, 23-25, 15-7 in the second match staged this afternoon.

Meanwhile, BDVA who opened their Group C account with a straight sets victory (25-15, 25-13, 25-14) against SCYC, Senjam Chirang extended their winning run to two games by defeating SDI, Ishok 25-16, 25-12,25-15 in the second match this afternoon.

IYYC, Naorem in the meantime sealed their second win by defeating TYC, Tengdonyan 25-19, 25-16, 25-21.They had beaten SUWC, Irengbam 25-13, 25-19, 25-13 for the first win yesterday in the tournament opener.

LCSK had also posted two straight victories yesterday by handing TYC a 25-18, 20-25, 25-22, 25-17 defeat and SUWC a 25-17, 25-14, 25-15 defeat.

The day also saw IGO, Oinam beat PYC 25-23, 18-25,25-21, 20-25, 15-13 and AMIMYDO beat DVA 25-16, 26-24, 25-22 in Group A matches as SEWA beat UNT 20-25, 25-23, 22-25, 25-21, 15-11 in a Group A match.

In a Group D match staged today, SCYC defeated KYLSC 26-24, 10-25, 22-25, 23-25, 15-10 .
