Loktak FC brush aside Raising FC 6-2 to emerge Group B winners

Imphal, September 22 2025: Loktak FC, Loktak Project and RFCC, Keinou have qualified for the 1st Yumnam Manao Memorial 1 st Division Football League semi-finals as Group B winners and runners up.

Loktak FC overwhelmed Raising FC, Ngaikhong Khullen 6-2 courtesy of Kh Jebison's four goal haul to become table toppers on 7 points from three games while RFCC played out a goalless draw with LFC, Ngaikhong Khunou to amass four points and finish group runners up this afternoon at Mini Stadium, Bishnupur.

In the penultimate Group B match, RFCC, who defeated Raising FC by 3-1 goals after their opening game loss to Loktak FC, worked hard to extend their winning run but LFC, who just needed a win to qualify for the semifinals, held off their charges while trying to capitalise on their chances.

As both sides drew blank, RFCC squeezed into the semi-finals while LFC finished on 3 points from three draws.

Later in the final league match, Kh ran riot to slot four goals alone and set up the 6-2 win for Loktak FC.

Kh Jebison was quick into the business and gave Loktak FC a 2-0 lead in 27 minutes having scored the opening goal in the 13th minute.

P Deny of Raising FC pulled a goal back in the 35th minute but Jebison was on the target again to make it 3-1 at half time.

Harmon Khor put Loktak FC further ahead by netting a goal in the first minute of the second half before Jebison scored his fourth in the 55th minute to make it 5-1 .

Rengneising S of Raising FC further reduced the margin by one goal with a clinical finish in the 72nd minute but T Jenish scored two minutes into the stoppage time to seal the 6-2 win for Loktak FC.

Eventually, Loktak FC emerged Group B winners with two wins and a draw in three games while Raising FC finished at rock bottom of the table with just a point from a draw with LFC .
