Imphal, May 21 2026: Imphal West and Thoubal boys' teams stretched their winning run to three games in the 1st Junior Boys and Girls' Cash Prize Inter District Kabaddi Tournament-2026 being underway at NETA playground, Kangla Sangomsang, Imphal East.

Imphal West who kicked off their campaign with a 55-38 win over Kakching yesterday, defeated Imphal East by 57-39 points for the second win today before getting the better of Bishnupur by 62-32 for the third successive win.

Thoubal meanwhile thumped Bishnupur 63-50 for the first win before they prevailed 67-21 over Kakching for the second win and posted a 49-23 win over Imphal East.

Imphal East had earlier sealed a 59-33 win over Kakching in the first match of the day.

In the girls' competition, Imphal West completed a treble as they beat Imphal East 39-28 for the first win before beating Kakching 41-24 and Bishnupur 30-26 .

The day also saw Bishnupur beat Thoubal 31-16 before playing out a 31-31 draw with Imphal East while Kakching beat Thoubal 33-31 for the second win.
