FC Imphal, YWC-Th post contrasting wins in Sr Women's Football League

Imphal, May 20 2026: FC Imphal overwhelmed MUFA 7-0 as YWC-Th sealed a slender 1-0 win over KRYPHSA in the last two Group B league matches of the 16th AMFA Senior Women's Football League 2026-27 .

With the win, FC Imphal deservedly finished atop Group B on 10 points (3 wins and a draw) while YWC finished second on the same 10 points (3 wins and a draw) but with inferior goal count and goal difference.

Chingkhamayum Redima (26', 40', 64') and Yumlembam Pakpi (14', 57') led the scoring for FC Imphal today at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong sharing five goals as substitutes Thongam Reshma (63') and Huidrom Sunita (77') contributed a goal apiece.

Meanwhile in the second match of the day and the final Group B league match, Sagolshem Ronika scored in the second minute to earn YWC-Th the 1-0 victory.
