Five from State to represent India at 57th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports C'ship 2025

Imphal, August 19 2025: As many as 5 bodybuilders from Manipur will be representing India at the 57th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2025 being hosted by Thailand in Bangkok.

The athletes have reached the venue for the championship that kicked off yesterday, said the All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBBA) in a press release.

The athletes who made it to the Indian team are Hawaibam Ricky of Royal Gym, Ningomthong (7/5 kg junior); Chongtham Bluncely of Ogust Gym, Checkon (75+ kg junior); Mayanlambam Olenjit of DJ Gym and Fitness, Kakching (75+ kg junior), Thokchom Sanjeeta of World Gym, Yaiskul, (55 kg women's bodybuilding) and Leishangthem Kumarjit of MPSC (Masters 50-60 years) .

AMBBA further extended best wishes to all the athletes competing in the continental event that will run till August 25 .
