37th Junior and 35th Senior State Archery Championships conclude

Imphal, November 15 2025: Laishram Naoton of SICA and Okram Naobi Chanu of FAC emerged senior men and women's Indian Round individual event winners as the 37th Junior and 35th Senior State Archery Championships came to a close today at SAI NERC Ground, Takyel.

Okram Naobi Chanu defeated Soibam Lingjelthoibi of BCAC by 6-2 margin in the final shoot-out to earn the individual crown as Laiphrakpam Rabina of KMAC settled for the third place.

Laishram Naoton of FAC also registered an identical win against Moirangthem Bikash in the men's individual competition to earn the gold medal as LMLCC's Yumnam Bishan took the bronze medal.

In the Indian Round team competition, KMAC secured both the men and women's titles.

KMAC team comprising Thokchom Millennia, Tonjam Kelvina, Laiphrakpam Rabina, and Elangbam Lucky registered a 5-1 win over AAC team comprising Keisham Sandiya, Heikrujam Roshina, Ningombam Linthoisana, and Khumukcham Subhari to win the gold medal.

The NSA team settled for the bronze medal in the women's team event.

KMAC men's team featuring Moirangthem Bikash, Chingakham Bison, Chingakham Nelson, and Yumnam Jackson also registered a 5-1 win over LMLCC team consisting of Sandham Jenibash, Shilheiba Leitanthem, Yumnam Bishan, and Yumnam Bimolchandra in the final shoot-out.

The BCAC men's team finished third to bag the bronze medal in this competition.
