CDCC thrash SCCC by 8 wickets in 5th MNCA Luwangpokpa T-20 Trophy

Imphal, June 15 2025: CDCC, Sagolband Salam Leikai notched up an 8-wicket win against SCCC, Singjamei Thongam Leikai today in a rain-curtailed Group B match of the 5 th MNCA Luwangpokpa T-20 Trophy 2024-25 .

It was the first win for CDCC after their first match was washed out by rain and second game loss to AKSDO .

Asked to bat first in a match that was reduced to 8-over an innings due to morning rain, SCCC gathered 60 runs for 6 wickets.

CDCC then eased to winning 64 in 6.1 overs with 8 wickets left in the hand.

Kongjengbam Monish started with an unbeaten 46 off just 26 balls including 6 fours and 2 maximums to steer CDCC to the victory after Khaidem Lishan 23 off 13 balls and Bikash Singh 18 off 11 balls led the scoring for SCCC.

Kshetrimayum Robert 2/15 and Mutum Jodiba 2/20 led the CDCC bowling attack earlier in the first innings as Mandingbam Surjit (1/6) and Fm Sharif (1/16) claimed a wicket apiece.

For SCCC, Hidangmayum Rakeshwor Republic (1/13) and Khaidem Joyraj (1/8) picked a wicket apiece.
