State U17 Boys Subroto Cup team head to New Delhi

Thoubal, September 13 2026: The State U17 Boys team have left Imphal for New Delhi NCR this afternoon for the "65th Subroto Cup International Football Tournament -2026" .

Notably, AG Memorial Academy of Thoubal district will be representing Manipur at the event following their success in the 65th State Level Subroto Mukerjee Football Tournament -2026 organised by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports.

They were led by team manager L Thoimani Devi and coach Irom Prameshori.

Before their departure, the school staff conducted a blessing ceremony to pray for the team's success in the tournament.

Speaking at the event, AG Memorial Academy Principal Th Master expressed that representing Manipur at the international tournament was a matter of great pride for the school.

He urged all sections of society to cheer for and support the team, wishing them success in bringing laurels to the state.

The U17 Boys tournament will commence on September 15 .
