Maibam Robart of Kakching crowned Mr Khamba

Maibam Robart of Kakching was crowned Mr Khamba at the 1 IthMr Khamba Inter District State Level Bodybuilding Contest jointly organised by the All Manipur Body Builders Association and Kakching District Body Builders Association at the auditorium of Padma Ratna English School, Kakching today.

The competition was held with the motto - "Ima Leibakidamak Kathokchaba" and dedicated to the martyrs of Manipur.

Maibam Robart of Kakching finished on top of the senior men's bodybuilding competition to earn the Mr Khamba title as Athokpam Chingkheinganba of Thoubal finished runner up and Mayanglambam Olenjit of Kakching seal the second runner up title.

Leishangthem Roshikumar of Bishnupur meanwhile finished fourth in the competition as Keithellakpam Kishan bagged the fifth place title.

Junior Men's Bodybuilding

Mayanglambam Olenjit of Kakching was crowned the junior men's bodybuilding competition winner as Leishangthem Roshikumar of Bishnupur and MK Bamold of Imphal West secured the second and third place titles.

Brahmacharimayum Inao Sharma of Imphal West finished fourth in the same competition while compatriot Khangembam Rishikanta sealed the fifth place. Physically Challenged Bodybuilding

Naoren Jayenta of Thoubal earned the physically challenged bodybuilding title.

He was the only competitor in the segment.

Women's Bodybuilding

Thokchom Sanjeeta of Imphal West was crowned the women's bodybuilding champion.

Finishing behind her were Phila Yangya, Chingmila Hongchui and Thashim Pheirei, all from Ukhrul.

Masters Bodybuilding

Laishram Okendro of Imphal West meanwhile clinched the masters' men bodybuilding competition as compatriots Longjam Ashokumar and Potsangbam Bonny finished second and third.

Laishram Tombisana of Imphal East secured the fourth place as Nongmaithem Sunil of Kakching finished fifth.

Men's Sports Physique

Ningthoujam Nebenchand of Imphal West emerged the winner of Men's Sports Physique competition as Kh Rohit Ali of Imphal East and Ahongsangbam Barun of Imphal West finished second and third.

Chanambam Daniel and Moirangthem Samson, both representing Bishnupur finished fourth and fifth in the competition.

As many as 49 athletes from 6 districts, who emerged victorious in district level competitions, participated in the State level competition held on the occasion of Patriots' Day.
