DYASOs in Kamjong, Tengnoupal, Thoubal to conduct district level Inter School trials

Imphal, September 10 2026: The District Youth Affairs and Sports Office (DYASO), Kamjong is set to conduct district level "Inter School" trial selection for 31 disciplines across U14, U17 and U19 age groups and genders.

The disciplines and trial dates are as follows :

Sep 12 : Wushu (U17/U19 B&G), Taekwondo (U14/U17 B&G), Boxing (U14/U17/U19 B&G) and Judo (U14/U17/U19 B&G) .

Sep 15 : Rugby (U19 B&G), TT (U14/U17 B&G), Handball (U14/U17 B&G) and Thang-Ta (U14/U17/U19 B&G) .

Sep 20 : Weightlifting (U17/U19 B&G), Wrestling (FS) (U14 boys and U19 girls), Wrestling (G/R) (U17 Boys), Athletics (U14/U17/U19 B&G) and Basketball (U17 B&G) .

Sep 24 : Football (U14/U17/U19 B&G), Shooting (U14/U17 B&G) and Kabaddi (U17 B&G) .

Oct 1 : Badminton (U14/U17 B&G), Kho-Kho (U17 B&G), Karate-Do (U17 B&G) and Hockey (U14/U17/U19 B&G) .

Oct 4 : Kurash (U17 B&G), Volleyball (U14 B and U17/U19 B&G), Sepaktakraw (U14/U17/U19 B&G), Cycling (R&T) (U14/U17 B&G) .

Oct 9 : Fencing (U14/U17/U19 B&G), Baseball (U17 B&G), Netball (U17 B&G) and Gymnastics (U14/U17/U19 B&G) .

October 14 : Archery (U14/U17/U19 B&G), Swimming and Diving (U14/U17 B&G), Softball (U17 B&G) and Squash (U19 B&G) .

The last date of form submission for trial slated for September 12 is September 12 itself while the last date of form submission for other trials is one day prior to the respective trial date.

Interested players/ schools of Kamjong district may collect eligibility form from the DYASO, Kamjong during office hours.

Meanwhile, DYASO Tengnoupal will conduct trials for 24 disciplines from September 15 onwards.

The disciplines for which the trials are to be conducted include Wushu, Taekwondo, Boxing and Judo from September 15 to 16; Rugby and TT from September 17 to 18; Handball and Thang-Ta from September 19 to 21; Weightlifting, Wrestling (FS and GR), Athletics, and Basketball from September 22 to 23; Football, Shooting and Kabaddi from September 24 to 28; Badminton, Kho-Kho, Karate-Do and Hockey from September 29 to October 3; Volleyball, Sepaktakraw and Cycling (R/T) from October 5 to 7; and Archery from October 12 to 13 .

The late date of form submission is September 12, said DYASO Tengnoupal in a press release.

DYASO Thoubal will also conduct similar trials for 31 disciplines from September 14 onwards.

The disciplines for which the trials are to be conducted include Wushu and Taekwondo on September 14, Boxing and Judo and September 15; Rugby and TT on September 16; Handball and Thang-Ta on September 17; Weightlifting and Wrestling (FS and GR) on September 18; Athletics and Basketball on September 19; Football, Shooting and Kabaddi on September 21; Badminton and Kho-Kho September 22; Karate-Do and Hockey on September 23; Kurash and Volleyball on September 24; Sepaktakraw and Cycling (R/T) on September 25; Fencing, Baseball, Netball and Gymnastics on September 26; and Archery, Swimming and Diving, Softball and Squash on September 27 .

Last date of form submission is 2 days before the trial date, it said.
