2nd Dr Ksh Chourjit Polo Tournament : Chingkheihunba Polo Club in semis as Tekcham Polo Club reach quarterfinals

Imphal, February 09 2026: Chingkheihunba Polo Club prevailed 10-6 over Black Watch Polo Club to book their semi-final ticket in the ongoing 2nd Dr Ksh Chourjit Singh Inter District Polo Tournament as Tekcham Polo Club outlasted Kakching District Polo Association 10-2 to set up a quarterfinal date with AR Polo Team.

In the first quarterfinal match of the tournament, Chingkheihunba Polo Club rode goals from Th Kaoba (5 goals) and Takhellambam Leishemba (3 goals) to seal the huge win.

Th Kaoba scored one goal apiece in the first three chukkers before scoring twice in the final chukker while Leishemba scored twice in the second chukker before adding the decisive goal in the final chukker.

A Alex and M Bhupendrajit also contributed a goal apiece to ensure Chingkheihunba Polo Club take a 2-1 first chukker lead, 6-4 second chukker lead, 7-5 third chukker lead before securing the 10-6 win.

M Chaoba scored five goals and L Rohit scored one for Black Watch Polo Club.

Earlier in a first round clash, P Bikash scored 5 goals across four chukkers to help Tekcham Polo Club seal the 10-2 win over Kakching District Polo Association.

S Sadananda and M Abhigyan scored two goals apiece for the winning side as M Tomba added one.

M Thoithoiba and H Momo meanwhile found the target for the Kakching District Polo Association.
