Imphal, November 05 2025: Naorem Birahari (NB) College, NG College, and Pravabati College progressed into last-16 stage of the ongoing Ayekpam Pratap Memorial MU Inter College Football (M) Tournament hosted by Pole Star College, Hiyanglam at DS A Kakching playground.

In the first match of the day, NB College beat Liberal College 3-1 on penalties after a 3-3 regulation time draw.

Ksh Bhasko (12', 35') and Th Pravesh (76') were on target for N Birahari College during normal time as Y Bungocha (18'), and H Thoithoiba (32', 56') do the scoring for Liberal College.

In the shoot-out, O Ranjan, L Argentina, H Wanglen scored to earn NB College the win as only L Dollar found the net for Liberal College.

With the win, NB College set up a last-16 round date with Lilong Haoreibi College.

Later in the second match, NG College beat Kamakha Pemton (KP) College 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the regulation time.

Hollendro scored in the 43rd minute to put NG College ahead but L Kangleinganba drew level for KP College in the 60th minute to keep the competition open.

In the shoot-out, Malem, Momo, Pritam, and Alfred found the target as only Kh Barun, L Kangleinganba and S Nongshaba scored it for KP College.

Later in the third match and tourney's 7th, Pravabati College beat Imphal College 1-0 to set up a semi-final date with NG College.

The lone goal that settled the issue was scored by Y Surchandra two minutes into the stoppage time (60+2') .
