Imphal, September 05 2025: Rich tributes were paid to Sintakpurel RK Sanahal and other Thang-Ta gurus as the Thang-Ta Shanglen, Yumnam Huidrom Makha Leikai, and Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Association (HLTTA), Manipur joined hands to celebrate teachers' day today.

The programme held at the office of the Thang-Ta Shanglen was attended by Huidrom Premkumar, president of world Thang-Ta Federation; Thounaojam Priyokumar, former secretary of die Thang-Ta Federation of India; Huidrom Dinachandra, former secretary of the Thang-Ta Federation of India; and Heikrujam Cha Babu, secretary of the Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Association, Manipur among others as presidium members.

The attendees paid floral tributes to Sintakpurel RK Sanahal, while Thang-Ta gurus and instructors were honored with gifts in recognition of their invaluable contributions to nurturing numerous students and enthusiasts at the event.
