G/87 Bn CRPF to conduct Women's Football Tournament

Imphal, September 04 2026: G/87 Bn CRPF, GC Imphal is set to organise a women's football tournament under Khelo India's Sports for Peace and Development Across Nation (SPANDAN) initiative at its centre at Langjing from September 11 to 13 .

The podium finishers will receive a cash prize of Rs 10,000, Rs 6,000 and Rs 4,000 respectively, said a press release issued by the battalion while inviting local players, youth and sports enthusiasts to participate and extend their support for the successful conduct of the event.

The tournament aims to promote sports, physical fitness and healthy lifestyle among local youth and provide a platform for talented players to showcase their abilities, it said.
