THAU confirm U-19 Women's One Day Trophy semi-final ticket

Imphal, May 04 2025: THAU, Thangmeiband notched up an emphatic 7-wicket win against Al-Ameen, Lilong in their final Group B league match in the ongoing 3rd MNCA U-19 Women's One Day Trophy to seal their place in the semi-final.

THAU restricted toss winners Al-Ameen to 102/8 in 35 overs thanks to K Nonibala (4/16) and M Creety (2/8) and chased down the target in 16 overs with 7 wickets left in hand.

Ahongshangbam Thoithoibi anchored with an unbeaten 35 off 26 balls to seal the victory for THAU after Farhana topscored with a 72-ball 42 to steer Al-Ameen to 102 .

Farhana also claimed two wickets (2/34 in 6 overs) in a lost cause.

K Nonibala was adjudged player of the match.

The win helped THAU finish group runners up behind AKSDO, who also posted three wins in four matches but has better net run rate and both the teams qualified for the semi-finals.
