Manipur Cycling Association to hold selection trial for National Mountain Bike Cycling Championship

Imphal, September 02 2026: The Manipur Cycling Association is set to conduct a State team trial on September 10 at Awa Ching in Imphal East in view of the National Mountain Bike Cycling Championship to be held from October 1 to 4, 2026 at Mahendragiri, Odisha.

All registered Mountain Bike cyclists willing to represent Manipur in the championship must appear and participate in the selection trial without fail, irrespective of their training status at NCOEs, SAI Centres in Manipur or in other States of India.

Unregistered cyclists willing to participate in the trial must get themselves registered with the association before the trial, said the association in a notification issued in this regard.

The trial will be conducted for all three categories- Elite, Junior and Sub-Junior, it said while adding that the last date of trial form submission is September 8 .

Two recent passport size photographs, photocopy of Aadhaar Card and Birth Certificate must be submitted at the time of form submission, it added.
