4th MNCA Men;s U19 One Day Trophy 2025-26 : RULE march on with 7-wicket win over YUCC

RULE, Meitram sealed their second Group C win in three matches in the 4th MNCA Men;s U19 One Day Trophy 2025-26 by defeating YUCC, Kwakeithel Moirangpurel by 7 wickets at Model Hr Sec and Oriental College ground.
RULE won the toss and opted to field first.
They tactfully dismantled YUCC for 86 runs within 19.5 overs riding on Ganjit Thangjam and Luxson Nongthombam before they fought their way to the target in 23.4 overs with 7 wickets left to spare.
Rajbir Khumanthem 19, Shresth Oinam 18 and Khundrakpam Banny 16 were the only three double digit getters for YUCC today as Ganjit Thangjam picked four wickets (4/23 in 6 overs) and Luxson Nongthombam (3/0 in 0.5 over) claimed three wickets to set up their collapse at 86 .
Arubam Gosan (1/26), Ng Nongpoknganba (1/13), and Indrakumar Sanjenbam (1/21) also picked a wicket apiece for RULE in this innings.
In reply, Sanathoi Sanjenbam (23 off 40 balls), Dilshan (21 off 47 balls), and Indrakumar Sanjenbam (21 off 34 balls) laid the foundation of RULE chase before Arubam Goshan (9 not out off 18 balls) finished off the chase with Ng Nongpoknganba (0 not out off 3 balls) .
Ganjit who shone with the ball was adjudged player of the match.
PTRC beat Al-Ameen by 110 runs
PTRC, Patsoi Part IV notched up a huge 110-run victory over Al-Ameen via VJD method in a rain affected match.
PTRC raised a commanding total of 218 runs for 6 wickets in 33 overs before rain interrupted the innings.
With rain affecting the match, the target was revised at 177 runs in 19 overs.
Chasing 177 for the win, Al-Ameen managed 66 runs for 7 wickets as PTRC bowlers produced a concerted frugal effort.
Ngambarel Naoshekpam scored an 82-ball 106 filled with 10 fours and 5 sixes to power PTRC to a commanding total as Priyojit made 55 off 68 balls (7 fours).
The duo forged 155 runs for the second wicket until Priyojit holed out to Maibam Ashique off the bowling of Thoubalmayum Aarish.
Umar was the pick of the Al-Ameen bowlers finishing with (3/39) as Shohel Akter claimed two (2/27) .
In reply, Al Ameen started wobbly and were 66/7 at the end of 19 overs despite Umar scoring an unbeaten 23 off 27 balls.
Laitonjam James (2/14) and Laitonjam Jackson (2/3) picked two wickets apiece for the winners as three others claimed a wicket apiece.
Ngambarel, who produced a ton, was eventually declared player of the match.
CDCC seal 147-run win at Khudeiband Lampak
The day also saw CDCC, Sagolband securing a 147-run victory over SCCC, Singjamei Thongam Leikai via VJD method.
CDCC opted to bat first but slumped to 170 all out in 29 overs before rain stop SCCC;s struggling chase at 101/8 after 23.1 overs.
The target was revised at 147 with the rain playing spoilsports and eventually CDCC were declared winners by 45 runs.
Rex Waikhom (4/43), Rojesh Athokpam (2/17) and Taibanganba Elangbam (2/43) were prolific with the ball for SCCC today before Devis of CDCC picked 6 crucial wickets (6/29 in 6 overs) to leave them in tatters before rain further hampered their condition.
Devis was eventually adjudged player of the match.
