Semifinal lineup completed for Sub-Junior Basketball Boys team

Semifinal lineup for Boy's team of the ongoing 36th State Sub-Junior Basketball Championship 2019 organized under the aegis of Manipur Basketball Association since May 28 with the participation of 6 Boys's team divided into 2 groups and 2 Girl's team at Nahabam Basketball court completed.
The first semifinal will be played between Group A winner, ESU Palace Compound and Group B runners-up Bolero FC Sangai Chuthek on June 1 at 3.30 pm while the second semifinal will be battled out between Group B winner YPHU Lalambung and Model Club Chingamakha at 4.30 pm.
In Girl's final, ESU Palace Compound will square off with Youth Club Uripok tomorrow at 4 pm.
In today's Group B last league match, YPHU Lalambung thrashed Bolero FC Sangai Chuthek by 49-18 points while in Group A last league match, Model Club Chingamakha trounced Youth Club Uripok by 50-18 points.
In the first one-sided match between YPHU and Bolero FC, YPHU cornered the first quarter easily with 17-2 points and extended the lead to 33-13 points in the second quarter effortlessly.
YPHU raced ahead to 45-16 points in the third quarter and wrapped up the match with 49-18 points in the fourth quarter.
Lanchenba (12) scored the maximum points for YPHU followed by L Rahul (11), Nitson (10), Krishnachari (6), Robert (4), Paikhomba (4) and Gourav (2).For Bolero Sangai Chuthek, Asar P scored 11 pts while Th Neptish added 4 pts and Tholchan K contributed another 3 pts.
In the second match, Model Club Chingamakha had an easy win over Youth Club Uripok by 50-18 points.
Model Club Chingamakha started with a solid lead of 20-6 points in the first quarter and further extended the lead to 30-7 in the second quarter.
However, Youth Club Uripok performed slightly better in the third quarter to reduce the margin to 14-38 but their effort fell short as Model Club Chingamakha sealed the match with towering 50-18 points in the fourth quarter.
Badal (13) gave Model Club Chingamakha the maximum points while Ksh Naoba and M Mahesh added 11 points each.
H Lamyanba added 7 pts and W Hari, T Paikhomba, M Thoiba scored 4, 2, 2 pts each.
For Youth Club Uripok, S Mohen, Th Arish, Y Wilson and RK Devraj scored 8, 4, 4 and 2 pts respectively.
