Wangoo Mukna body condoles demise of member

Imphal, July 06 2025: The Wangoo Tam-pha Lairembi Mukna Association held a condolence meeting in memory of its active member, Loitongbam Mohon of Wangoo Laipham Makha Leikai, who passed away on July 2, 2025 .

The gathering took place at the late Mohon's residence, with association president Sanasam Pheijao leading a two-minute silence in his honour.

The association acknowledged Mohon's contributions to the Mukna sport.

During the meeting, secretary L Tampha, assistant secretary A Biren, treasurer L Imoba, publicity secretary S Deben, and advisors Amom Pakchao (Jatra) and Sagonsem Nobin, along with many members, paid their respects.

Wangoo Tampha Lairembi Mukna Association secretary Loitongbam Tampha, also a qualified Mukna judge and member of the All Manipur Mukna Association Executive, expressed deep sorrow at the loss.

Tampha described Mohon as a dedicated supporter and an invaluable figure in promoting Mukna in the state.

The association reaffirmed its commitment to continue his legacy and strengthen the community he helped build.
