MEIRAA-B, KHSC, Tbl victorious in State 6-a-side hockey tourney

Imphal, December 18 2024: MEIRAA-B, KHSC and Thoubal Hockey emerged victorious in the men's fixtures of the 4th State Level Men's & Women's Open 6-a-side Hockey Tournament on Wednesday in Bishnupur.

MEIRAA-B dominated Bishnupur Hockey 6-3 as K Chinglensana made the most of the rout with four goals, while Th Kirankumar chipped in with a double.

For the losing side, Rohit scored two goals and Ibungo netted one.

Meanwhile, KHSC rode on Harish's brace to beat UYAC 2-0, while Thoubal Hockey edged past BH B 2-1, with goals from Rakeshbabu and Bhagir.

In the day's women's event, MEIRAA-A claimed a 4-2 win over TWC, and Thoubal Hockey ESPM romped past BH 3-0 .

On the other hand, MEIRAA-B and YCCIC played out a 1-1 draw, while the match between MLHA and BH ended in a goalless stalemate.
