34th State Junior Thang-Ta Championship from Sep 28

Imphal, August 06 2025: The Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Association, Manipur, is set to organise the 34th State Junior Thang-Ta Championship 2025 from September 28 to 30 at Ikop Ningthou Lai Haraobung, Heirok Part-II, Thoubal district.

According to the association, the championship will feature participants in two main categories: Phunaba (Phunaba Ama and Phunaba Anishuba), and Kanglon Chatpa (Thang-Haiba, Thanglon, and Khonglon-Khutton.

Winners of the state championship will earn the honour of representing Manipur at the 31st National Junior Thang-Ta Championship 2025, to be held in Guwahati from December 22 to 24 .

Interested participants are required to submit their entry forms by September 14, 2025 .

Further information can be obtained from the Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Association's office in Yunnam Huidrom.
