Imphal, August 12 2025: Assam Rifles organised friendly volleyball matches at Suangdai and Kangkap in Churachandpur district on Monday, drawing active participation from local youth, turning the grounds into lively hubs of energy, teamwork, and mutual respect.

According to PRO IGAR (S), with cheers echoing across the hills, the matches became more than just a sporting event - they were a celebration of unity, resilience, and shared aspirations.

Local players showcased remarkable enthusiasm and skill, reflecting the growing embrace of sports as a channel for positive engagement and personal growth.

The event served as a meaningful platform for interaction between the security forces and the community, reinforcing Assam Rifles' commitment to fostering trust and harmony in the region, said the PRO , adding that a prize distribution ceremony was held to recognise the efforts and sportsmanship of all participants.
