18-member state squad named for Junior Men's National C'ship

Imphal, August 06 2025: Manipur Hockey has announced its final line-up for the 15th Hockey India Junior Men National Championship 2025, which will be held in Jalandhar, Punjab from August 12 to 23 .

A total of 18 players have been selected to represent the state, alongside four reserves, following the recommendation of the selection committee.

The squad features a balanced mix of talent from various clubs, including KHSC, HU, SEYO, YCCIC, TWC, and BH .

The goalkeeping duties will be handled by Ph Arbin Singh (BH) and Ch Ranbir Singh (TWC).

Defending the backline are L Sushil (KHSC), N Uttam (KHSC), T Ricky (HU), Kh Somekant (HU), and L Pritam (YCCIC) .

The midfield has M Thoiba (KHSC), L Samson (KHSC), L Sheleiba (KHSC), A Suresh Sharma (HU), N Amarjit (SEYO), and S Bedyacharan (YCCIC).

The attacking lineup includes L Harish (KHSC), I Rohit (SEYO), Y Bidyananda (HU), Kh Nermal (TH), and Th Thonglen (MEIRAA).

Additionally, four players have been named as reserves: Ng Don (TWC), M Boynao (TWC), P Naokhomba (KHSC), and M Vekash (KHSC) .
