United Chandel defeat DMRAO 3-1 in 2nd Premier League

Imphal, May 24 2025: United Chandel FC came from behind to secure a commanding 3 -1 win against DMRAO in Saturday's action of the 2nd Premier League 2025-26 at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.

DMRAO made a bright start when Wahengbam Tejkumar Meitei broke the deadlock in the 6th minute, but their advantage was short-lived.

A 27th-minute own goal from Maharabam Karan levelled the score, handing United Chandel a route back into the game.

The Chandel side then seized control, with Ahong Khiang Chothe putting them ahead in the 39th minute.

Soram Sumit Singh sealed the victory in the 79th minute, ensuring United Chandel claimed all three points in convincing fashion.
