DESAM, KSA, MSF, AIMS reach Players' Day football semis

Imphal, February 22 2025: The second day of the 7th Manipur Players' Day Invitational Football Championship 2025, held on Saturday, featured a series of competitive matches.

The morning fixture between Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) and All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) ended in a goalless draw.

Similarly, the afternoon encounter between DESAM and Apunba Ireipakki Maheiroi Sinpanglup (AIMS) also concluded without any goals.

However, the evening match saw the Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) deliver an impressive performance, securing a commanding 3-0 victory over AMSU.

In the semifinal matches, DESAM, the winners of Team A (Group 1), will take on KSA, the runners-up of Team B (Group 2), while MSF, the winners of Team B (Group 2) will face AIMS, the runners-up of Team A (Group 1) .

Meanwhile, Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) has urged the public to extend their full support, both morally and otherwise, to ensure the successful execution of the tournament, which will conclude on February 25 .
