AMPA condoles Somibala's demise

Imphal, August 14 2025: The All Manipur Powerlifting Association on Thursday expressed grief over the demise of Atom Somibala Chanu, a master national powerlifter and multiple-time national medallist.

Somibala, a resident of Thangmeiband Tarung, was recognised for her outstanding contributions to the sport.

In a press note, the association extended heartfelt condolences to her family and prayed for their strength during this difficult time.
