3rd Maipakpi Memorial Trophy : Tomba nets seven as Mukhai FC devastate WAC 9-0

Imphal, May 13 2025: Tomba delivered a big blow to WAC, Singjamei as he netted 7 goals alone to set up a 9-0 win for Mukhai FC today in the ongoing 3rd Maipakpi Memorial Trophy.

Mukhai FC got off to a flying start and pumped in five goals in the opening half against WAC before adding four more goals through Tomba in the second half to complete the 9-0 win.

Engson (4') opened the floodgate early in the 4th minute before H Tomba quick-fired two goals back to back in the 9th and the 17th minute to make it 3-0.Mutum Dilbagh further extended the lead to 4-0 in the 19th minute before Tomba completed his treble in the 21st minute.

Tomba then scored fired home four goals back to back in the 27th, 32nd, 39th and 47th minutes to make it 9-0.Later in the day, PK FC Sekta beat 786 Sporting Club, Kairang 1-0 thanks to Henery's 46th minute strike.

JFCC, Heirok meanwhile thumped MMFA, Heirok 2-0 courtesy of Rishi and Bikram who found the target respectively in the 20th and the 21st minutes.
